DIY CROCHET: ECO MAKE-UP DISCS

Recycle, fight against waste, zero waste.

In recent times, how much have you heard about these issues?

Everyone in his own small way contributes as can, with small daily devices, gestures that can somehow help and make us more aware *.

One thing I gave up was disposable make-up discs. I use a microfibre cloth that I wash and I have made small colored pads with cotton leftovers.

And while I was looking for a suitable container it occurred to me to use the sugar dispenser that lay empty in the pantry as we don’t use sugar!

To make them it is very simple:

  • do 4 chains and close very low;
  • 1 round: la21vora 10 half meshes high in the circle, close with a very low stitch;
  • 2 round: work 2 high half jerseys for each point of the previous round, close with a very low stitch {you will have a total of 20 knits};
  • 3rd round: work [2 half highs half 1 high half jersey], proceed to the end of the turn and close with a very low point {you will have a total of 30 jerseys}.
  • 4 round: work [2 high half jerseys, 1 half-high jersey, 1 half-high jersey], proceed to the end of the turn and close with a very low stitch {you will have a total of 40 jerseys}.
  • Cut the thread and close the job.
